Expect a powerful horn section, ultra-tight musicianship and heavy afro-jazz grooves as Nubiyan Twist bring their incendiary show to The Junction on 22nd April 2022.

Freedom Fables was released in February 2021 to widespread acclaim, including a MOBO nomination for Best Jazz Act. four 6Music & Jazz FM playlisted singles, an appearance on Jools Holland and a festival season which included Green ManWe Out Here & South Facing.

Shao Dow is an independent rapper, manga author and occasional ninja.

When it comes to performing live, Shao delivers an unforgettable stage show. Mixing skilful lyricism, infectious beats and Kung Fu, he creates an unparalleled live experience.

ECKOES

ECKOES has performed at major UK festivals such as Glastonbury & All Points East & toured various European cities. Currently writing her next solo project, she’s also 1 quarter of the electronic collaboration JETG, will appear on Goldie's next album 'Subjective III’ as well as composer Samuel Karl Bonne's 1st studio release later this year.


Her stunning latest single ‘Carry Waters’ follows on from ‘EP1’ which featured both ‘Cages’ that rocketed to 100,000 streams in under 6 weeks & ‘Without Prejudice’ which debuted on Apple Music ‘Best of The Week’.


The 6ft British Nigerian siren is recognised as much for her spellbinding music as for her mesmerising stage shows in outfits she creates herself by hand.


ECKOES is also a Board Director of The Featured Artist’s Coalition, & featured in a fashion campaign for Nubian Skin.
